Creativity

The creative functioning of kids is a process of making, thinking, and doing rather than finishing.
This means that with creativity there are no right or wrong answers.

Kids are creative when they:

• Try out new ideas and ways of doing things.

• When they take materials and manipulate and transform them and use them the way they want.

• Take things apart and then put them back together again.

• Imagine and fantasize.

• Solve problems and figure things out.
